WHAT IS FIRST AID?
First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery.
WHAT IS CPR?
“CPR” IN FRIST AID?
“CPR” IS Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that can help save a person’s life if their breathing or heart stops. When a person’s heart stops beating, they are in cardiac arrest. During cardiac arrest, the heart cannot pump blood to the rest of the body, including the brain and lungs.
HOW TO MAKE USE OF “CPR”
Firsty confirm what happened in that location to know whether there is danger,
Check the scene and the person. Make sure the scene is safe, then tap the person on the shoulder and shout “Are you OK?” to ensure that the person needs help.
Call 911 for assistance. …
Open the airway. …
Check for breathing. …
Push hard, push fast. …
Deliver rescue breaths. …
Continue CPR steps till rescue team arrive
we were taught how to administer first aid in different situations, perform CPR on infants, children and adults, and how to use the AED (automated external defribillator). Each sessions consist of theory and practical, skill evaluation and examination.
The organization provided everything needed for a successful training
There shall be subsequent training for other batches and we encourage others to respond to the call.
This is not a seminar or a workshop, this is an actual intensive training, every scouts should have this knowledge, for you don’t know what you’ve until you make use to it.
It is also not just a youth call, it’s a training every individual should take regardless of their age.
