Dear Scouts,

NSO STATEMENT ON THE #ENDSARS CRISIS IN NIGERIA.

1. Our dear country Nigeria is going through a period of mayhem and social depravity as exemplified by

the #endsars struggle championed by our young people and has been justified as a protest in the right

direction by prominent Nigerians and our various governments.

2. We wish to join in the commendation of our young people for coming out to sacrifice for the overall

good of our fatherland, as we also wish to commiserate with the families of those whose loved ones

have paid the supreme price in the course of this struggle.

3. As we call on our young people to continue to be civil at championing these agitations, we wish to call

on our leaderships to strive towards attaining the demands made by our future leaders, as well put

adequate processes and necessary mechanism in place to prevent future reoccurrence.

4. We wish to remind us as scouts that our laws do not permit our participation in protests such as the

current one. However, as individuals we are at liberty to express our socio-political opinions and

campaigns as deemed fit without involving The Scout Association of Nigeria(TSAN).

5. Let us remain prayerful as we do our duty to God and our beloved country Nigeria and continue to

help people in distress.

6. Please accept the assurances of my highest regards, and be guided accordingly.
