On 14th March 2023 Edo State Scout Council had the opportunity to join other youths and students in a Town Hall Meeting at Government House with a full Scout patrol.
Edo State Scout Council strongly commended His Excellency Godwin Obaseki for bringing Scouting back to schools in Edo State with heavy bill boards displayed in Government House and some major streets in Benin City.
It is our hope therefore that this initiative will curb social vices in our schools and help to form the character of our young children early enough by teaching them scout craft and other skills that will be useful to them and the society at large.
No man goeth about in a more godly purpose than him who is mindful of the right upbringing, not only of his own but of other people’s children.
