Ogun State Scout Council Holds Driving Skill Acquisition Seminar for Young Scouts
In collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun State Command and Accesswise Driving Academy, the Ogun State Scout Council organized a one-day theoretical Driving Skill Seminar. The event, held for both boys and girls of the Scout Movement aged 17 and above, took place on Saturday, June 8th, at the Scout Headquarters, Ita Iyalode, Abeokuta.
Certificates of completion, jointly signed by The Scout Association of Nigeria (TSAN), FRSC, and Accesswise Driving Academy, were issued to participants. The seminar aimed to equip young scouts with essential driving knowledge and skills.
The event was graced by notable personalities including National Executive Commissioner Engr. Babatunde Oyetayo, the FRSC Representative, Accesswise Driving Academy CEO, National Scout Board Past President Dr. R.B. Babatunde, and immediate past State Scout Commissioner Engr. Sola Leigh, along with other stakeholders and presenters.
A total of 60 scouts registered for the seminar, contributing to the day’s success. The knowledge gained by attendees was invaluable, reflecting the innovative efforts of the current State Scout Commissioner and his team. The Council continues to inspire and encourage, with hopes for continued progress and success
