Is an special online Scouting Guiding activity for Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers & Unit Leaders. The motive of this project is to engage ourself in household activities & to spent quality time with family during this challenging time of COVID – 19. I have participated in the following:
Group A : Peace and Prosperity
Challenge03 : Fight against plastic
Here I am Arun Kumar Scout Master HWB satyam open group Krishna district Bharat Scouts and Guides Andhra Pradesh.
The challenge is to avoid plastic.
Use old jeans or old shirt to make a purse or a shopping bag. Here I’m using my old T-shirt to make a shopping bag.
Step 1: Take an old T-shirt and cut into 2 pieces where the bottom part of the shirt… (pieces measurements should be similar )
as shown in the pic …, and make a loop top of the pieces to insert ropes into the loops.
Step 2: now we want 2 ropes… I used old I’d card’s lanyard/tag made up of nylon with similar length
Step 3: now join the cloth pieces closer and stitch them with the help of sweeing machine three sides (bottom and two sides ready)
Step 4: Now insert ropes into the loops as shown in the pics and stitch together sides of the bag … Now your bag is ready… It is very simple to make…. And carry….
This back pack bag is very useful at small shopping and outing
This is an alternate way to avoid plastic
In this challenge I have successfully participated
