A Tribute to Olori Omo-Oba Dr. Olusoga Shofolahan Atibioke, A Great Leader and Chief Scout of The Scout Association of Nigeria (TSAN)
It is with deep sorrow that we at Bravo Amos Scout Blog join the scouting community in mourning the loss of Olori Omo-Oba Dr. Olusoga Shofolahan Atibioke, the Chief Scout of The Scout Association of Nigeria, who passed away on February 2, 2025. His passing is a great loss to the scouting world, as he was a leader who embodied service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the development of young people.
Just two weeks ago, he personally called Bravo Amos Scout Blog admin team. Little did we know that it would be the last time we would hear his voice—a voice that always carried encouragement, wisdom, and a deep love for scouting. His words, as always, were filled with passion for the growth of scouting in Nigeria and beyond. We will forever cherish that moment, now realizing it was his final message to us.
Dr. Atibioke’s leadership was a guiding light for all of us. He believed in the power of scouting to shape lives, build character, and create future leaders. At Bravo Amos Scout Blog, we are committed to keeping his legacy alive by continuing to promote scouting through digital media.
As we prepare for the official launch of our online TV weekly show, we dedicate this initiative to his memory. This platform will not only promote scouting across Nigeria and beyond but also serve as a means to uphold the values he stood for—leadership, discipline, and selfless service. We will use this show to share inspiring scout stories, highlight community service, and ensure that his vision for a stronger, united scouting movement continues.
Dr. Atibioke may no longer be with us physically, but his impact will never fade. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all scouts and in every effort we make to ensure scouting remains a force for good.
Rest in peace, Chief. Your legacy will forever inspire us.
