FIRST EVER  NIGERIA SCOUT PARADE AND PRESIDENT AWARDS [NISPPA 2023]  is a program created by the Leadership of THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA [TSAN], to  give young Scout  opportunity to come together and make friends, share love, have fun, learn new things, exchange contact, share ideas on how they can survive and overcome an unexpected situation.

The Nigeria Scout Parade and President Award event is the brainchild of the present scout
administration in Nigeria, created for the purpose of enhancing the needed cohesion among
members of the Nigeria scout family, children, heralding and promotion of scouting among
young people of Nigeria, awards for our young people who are contributing towards the
growth of their communities, long service awards for old scouts who are role models to the
younger generations and a firm pledge of loyalty and commitment to the unity of Nigeria through scouting.

1. It’s the First largest gathering Of Almost 1000 Scouts from 27 States Councils in Nigeria

NISPPA Opening Remark

It is with great honour and absolute commitment to the Almighty God that I humbly welcome all stakeholders well wishers of the Scout Association of Nigeria this all-important first Nigeria Scout Parade and President Awards, [NISPPA – 2023].

This event will go down in the annals of history as we host this largest gathering of Scouts in Nigeria

As you may be aware, The Scout Association of Nigeria is a registered member of The World Scout Organization of the Scout Movement [WOSM] and shares the same vision with the parent body who boasts of about 60 million young members spread across 173 countries.

In Nigeria, Scouting have massive presence in all 36 states and the federal capital territory with several persons haven been scouts at one point or the other, including prominent persons in diverse walks of life. It is also noteworthy that The Scouts Association of Nigeria was established by an act of parliament of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, boasting currently with over three million [3,000,000] active members with the vision of growing the numbers to 10 million by 2025. With well thought out programs created to engage young people to the greater advantage of Nigeria, our leadership is carrying out series of events to reawaken the SCOUT consciousness in our dear country so as to contribute our quota towards nation building and overall National Growth and sustainability.
