Just in; Rover scout members conquer 150km journey on foot!!!

Four dedicated members of the Rover Scout community have achieved a remarkable feat by completing a challenging 150km journey on foot.

Their extraordinary trek began at the Chittagong University gate on February 11, culminating in a triumphant finish on February 15, where they met with Cox’s Bazar’s Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Muhammad Shaheen Imran, to mark the completion of their awe-inspiring journey.

The intrepid travelers, Md. Sohrab Hossain, rover of Agarpathik Mukt Rover Scout Group under Bangladesh Scouts Chattogram district rover, Md. Maruf Islam, rover of Chittagong University, Md. Habibur Rahman, rover of Rangunia Government College, and Hanjala Sarkar, rover of Bogura Government Shah Sultan College, embarked on this remarkable expedition to achieve the prestigious President Rover Scout Award’.

Their five-day odyssey led them from Chittagong University through Anwara, Banshkhali, Pekua, Chakaria, Dulahazara, Eidgaon, and Ramu to Cox’s Bazar, where they explored various significant landmarks, educational institutions, as well as governmental and private offices, all while actively promoting important awareness issues. Reflecting on their journey, Md. Sohrab Hossain, Md. Maruf Islam, and Md. Habibur Rahman expressed their profound satisfaction with the experience, emphasizing its potential impact on their future endeavors.

They highlighted the significance of their successful navigation through the new road from Chittagong University to Cox’s Bazar, viewing it as a triumph that will inspire fellow students to pursue their own unique challenges in the future.
