IMO STATE SCOUT ON AWARENESS AND RECRUITMENT DRIVE

On Wednesday 24th February 2021 Imo State Scout Team went on an Awareness and Recruitment Drive to some selected Secondary Schools in Owerri Capital.

The exercise was led by The Very Rev Fr Matthias Opara – Former Chief Scout of Nigeria and now currently The Vice President of the Imo State Scout Council assisted by the ASSC ADMIN Hon Chinedu Iheanacho, the Hon Secretary S. E. Echebima who also is the Scout Leader of one of the schools visited.

The State Training Commissioners Scouter Nwobi (ALT) was at the head of the Education Team.

Others in the team were Lolo Franca EJESI the Divisional Commissioner of Orlu Zone and the Youth Leader Susan John amidst other scouts.

The train took off visiting Government College Owerri later moved on to Development Comprehensive Secondary School Douglas Road, and then to Domino International Secondary School (a private secondary school) Douglas Road Owerri.
The team later went to Emmanuel College Owerri and finally ended at Technical College Owerri.
