A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENTIRE NSO

History was made on 11th September, 2021 when Delegates from the various State Scout Council assembled to hold the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING that saw the election of new Board Members and heralded a new era in the march forward to reinstating Our NSO to that enviable position which it occupied in the past that made her to be THE PRIMUS INTER PARES in Africa Region and the WOSM.

We thank the entire Scouts of Nigeria for their patience and understanding during the last three years of our experimentations with the Board System.

We thank the endurance of members of the National Scout Board for not plunging our NSO into disarray despite their numerous disagreements which they maturely handled and never brought to the public purview.

We commend the entire members of the last National Scout Board for their endurance and sacrifice towards piloting the affairs of the NSO immediately after coming out from a protracted crisis that nearly saw our NSO expelled from the World Scout Body.

We commend each and everyone of the NSB for their doggedness to maintain the NSO stable on a turbulent waters.

We thank the entire members of the Commissioners Council for whatever assignment they did during the last dispensation.

We all did marvellous jobs in our various ways.

We want to salute the entirety of the Nigeria Scout particularly the Youths who despite all odds strongly believed and hoped that the future was bright and saw it come through.

We thank the Team of State Scout Commissioners who in the face of failure never gave up rather forged ahead and made sacrifices to see that the NSO was stabilized again.

Last but not the least, we thank all the State delegates that endured the hazards and were in Benin, Edo State to see that the exercise of elections were conducted in an atmosphere of calm and tranquility.

We look forward to the ushering of a new era in Scouting that will prove our mettle and our worth as the undisputed Scout Giant of Africa.

We thank all of us for allowing the Communication Team do their work.

We end by asking anybody or group or persons that we might have in the course of our duties infuriated or slighted to forgive us as we equally have forgiven those that nearly humiliated us.

We say we are sincerely sorry and never meant any hurt intentionally or unintended.

We thank Our Amiable Chief Commissioner, Hon. Dave Awunah, for granting us an opportunity to serve in the dissemination of information and communication.

The bundle of experience we acquired while doing it would guide us in our future dealings.
