Brothers and sisters Scouts,

I bring you felicitations.

As we celebrate our Nation’s 64th Independence Day, we need to reflect on the sacrifices of our heroes past and the prospects of a brighter future.

As Scouts, we embody the values of patriotism, selflessness and community service. Today, we recommit to contributing positively to Nigeria’s growth and development.

Let us:

– Uphold the Scout Promise and Law

– Foster unity, inclusiveness and social cohesion

– Empower our youth to become active and good citizens

– Promote peace, justice and equality

As Chief Commissioner of The Scout Association of Nigeria (TSAN), I urge all Scouts to:

– Fly the Nigerian flag with pride

– Participate in Community Service Projects

– Engage in patriotic discussions and reflections
