HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS!
Fellow Scouts, Leaders, and Citizens of Nigeria,
As we celebrate our nation’s 65th Independence Day, I extend warm felicitations to you all. Today is a significant milestone in our country’s history, reminding us of the sacrifices made by our heroes past to achieve the freedom we enjoy today.
As Scouts, we embody the values of patriotism, selflessness, and community service. Let us recommit ourselves to contributing positively to Nigeria’s growth and development. We must uphold the Scout Promise and Law, foster unity and inclusiveness, empower our youth, and continue to promote peace, justice, and equality.
This celebration also offers us a time to reflect on Nigeria’s journey to acknowledge the progress we have made and to face the challenges that remain. Together, supporting one another and our leaders, we can build a brighter future for our beloved nation.
Let us fly the Nigerian flag with pride, participate in community service projects, and engage in patriotic discussions. Together, we can make a difference and create a better Nigeria for all.
