A Set Of 7 Venture Scout Section in number from 1st Okengwe Scout Troop go Hiking At UPAHI mountain of Okengwe, okene Local Government area Kogi State Scout Council.
The team Lead by Al- ameen Samson Ojo known as Prince from 1st Okengwe troop Venture Section unit 747.
The hiking was held on 11,February 2023 In Okene Local Government area of Kogi State.
Hiking Kick-off 9:58am by climbing the mountain named UPAHI mountain which starting point is from Obehira junction Along the line, they were lot of Challenges But as a Scout they Over Come It.
Going forward they met A Couple of Family Coming from Farm while Hiking on mountain and they were afraid Seeing Them Because they Did not Recognise Scout, As A Scout they Greeted them and Introduce Scouting To Them.
They Are full of Happiness for That ND Encourage the Scouter To Keep up the Good Work While telling Story About UPAHI Mountains.

Firstly I would like to thank our leader in the person of scouter Al-ameen samson Ojo known as prince who lead the hiking and also all participants for making it A Successful one,
The hiking was fun and interesting because it makes me understand things we were taught during our troop meeting and also it makes me know the route and things surounding the mountain like the name and why is it call, And it also make me relates with my scout brothers well and it was so much fun, looking forward for this kind of outdoor activities again
